It is a lightweight, water like texture and this application worked well. I gently shook the bottle, to get the seemingly separated parts of the essence to combine, before pouring it on to my hand and patting it on to my skin. This is a gorgeous bottle and the product costs a pretty penny.
This product is different for me - I haven't really dabbled in essences before so I didn't know what to expect, but sadly I am not sure this was it!
